Cabin in Monteagle

A friend of Jon's very kindly offered to let us stay at his family cabin as a little holiday get-away. Rather than being a cabin in the traditional sense, this was actually a 5 bedroom, 2 story home with a garage. Perched on the side of a mountain, it had a beautiful view (when it was sunny). Laura and Shannon came down Christmas night to hang out, as there was more than enough room! Monteagle is a 1.5 hour drive southeast of Nashville, near Chattanooga.

Below is a humorous replication of Manet's "Le Dejeuner sur l'Herbe" (The Luncheon on the Grass)

Jon was in charge of keeping the fire going, and he did a great job!

Wow, now that's what I call a cabin! Exactly where do you find friends that will lend you a beauty like this? (Please be specific.)
