Two weeks ago we officially added a fifth member into our family: Belle is a five-year-old lab mix, and she's a sweetheart. She spent the first five years of her life living with a family who loves her very much; unfortunately, as their family grew (two little girls, and baby boy on the way) their time for her lessened. SO, she's gone from a quiet home in the suburbs to a not-so-quiet home in the city. We've also replaced the kids with cats, a transition that, in retrospect, went very well.
Waiting in the kitchen for peanut butter in her Kong!

After our very first family walk in the park.

oh, your new doggie looks so sweet and lovable..Jon, be careful she doesn't love you to pieces! I bet she keeps you very busy...congratulations!
My best friend for 13 years (well among those who had more than 2 legs) was my lab/golden retriever mix. Still miss him terribly. Lots of fun times.
She is adorable :-)
Feed her what's left of Ozzy Nelson's badge. If you are lucky, you can then bypass him and his dog completely to open the door to the secret chamber.
You gave up Icee for that mutt? Unbelievable.
Hey, we love Belle! ha-ha I don't think Icee would FIT in our house! Certainly his propensity for chewing things wouldn't fit ;)
